  1. The debt ceiling is unconstitutional. 14th Amendment, "Section 4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned..." The debt ceiling, which in its current form was passed as the Public Debt Acts of 1939 and 1941, should be challenged as unconstitutional since it directly questions the validity of the public debt of the USA beyond the artificial limit it creates.
