  1. After the media essentially reported George W. Bush press releases on war with Iraq as "journalism", the media had to apologize and promise to do better. After the media gave Donald Trump so much free coverage in 2016 that he won, the media apologized and promised to do better. Now the media is doing the same lazy, shoddy work again. The difference this time is that if Trump wins, the media could not only lose their freedom of the press, but if they are not already all-Trump, all-the-time, journalists could be imprisoned by Trump.
