  11.  @Pikestnt  I support the landlord. But also have experience. One household got our motorcycle club evicted for the pub we met for about a decade before they moved in. The new people said they would contest the licence if we did not stop meeting there. In that situation the landlord is stuffed. The fact that he was a tenant and the people complained to the brewery didn’t not help.

  20. @ On street parking enforcement is one of the jobs that by law has to go out to tender. Very few Councils if any actually do the job. If anyone is lax about parking round Mosques it’s unlikely to be the Council. If there is a problem ask the Council who is responsible for enforcement. Then contact that firm with geotagged photos showing the vehicles involved. It may also be worth sending copies of the photos to the ward Councillor.

  31. @ Not shame on me at all. Perhaps try phoning your council and ask to be put through their parking enforcement department. It’s something that by law has to go out to tender. The council has to be able to show they can carry out the work cheaper than the tender. I will be surprised if they can do that.

  32.  @suburbanyobbo9412  The Council is very unlikely to use their direct labour to enforce parking restrictions. Have you tried phoning the Council to speak to their parking enforcement dept. What did the Council say if you tried it ? Having been through the process I am pretty sure you don’t know what you are talking about.

  35. I have purchased my motorcycle. That had been damaged beyond economical repair. Did the work myself. Unfortunately a professional repair business has to warranty their work. Not possible when using secondhand parts. Could lead them into PR & legal problems.
