My daughter found your comment just a bit patronising to women. In her eyes woman don’t need to be patted on the head & told how well they are doing.

@katrinaDS I have been around long enough to have been assured on numerous occasions the world has been about to end. I am not going to hold my breath.

@dustinthewind357 I can’t find anything I have said that would trigger your reply.

@midtennprepper6200 Survival Lilly. I used to subscribe. For me she went from having good ideas to someone who had taken things a little too far to be taken seriously.

@Chris-tz9ct East coast of which country. It’s not the U.K.

@Chris-tz9ct Due to weather. Not down to impending doom !

@Chris-tz9ct I have photographed suspension bridges on the Dee so keep an eye open to see if any get swept away. Foods & record low temperatures make an exiting spring.

Good informative video. Unfortunately in England a survival knife carried in a place with public access will be classed as an offensive weapon. Even if you are say moving it by car they need to be ‘secured’ out of sight. One sitting on a seat or even in the glove box could lead to an arrest.

@SurvivalLilly I can’t just carry an unsecured axe around in a public place. I would need to have a very good reason for doing so. I am taking it from one piece of private land to another would not be good enough.

Hides the user very well. But would a day glow red top make you safer when other people may be out hunting. I don’t know if it is true but most animals colour vision means they don’t pick up on day glow red they see it as grey. Also deer etc don’t carry guns. People may making then a greater hazard to your safety.

No longer a threat in the U.K.

@John-wx6wj Well said sir.

@katrinaDS Perhaps they believe you are talking tosh. The same as you appear to think about them.

The word weapon in the descriptions can be a problem in the UK. Unless the law has changed using a bow for hunting is illegal.

I see many videos of people building substantial shelters, different fire setups, cooking etc. All very interesting. But one subject that does not seem to come up is the very real problem of bodily waste disposal. What are the options when a site is used for even a few days. If they are appropriate tips on the siting & construction of composting toilets would not go amiss. Lilly seems the sort of person would could pass on the knowledge and skills to deal with this waste issue.

Won’t go down well in the UK either. Bow hunting & even disturbing badgers are both illegal.
