The Conservatives not Labour sold off the water companies. Labour would like to renationalise. Unfortunately they may have difficulty finding the money to do that.

2
@poethefallen1333 They will be able to do that. Musk has said he sees deleting even misinformation as censorship.
2
No it does not. The wind starts them turning. No other input required. Windmills have worked that way for centuries.
2
@MyName-cw4yr How can up claim an efficiency when there is no power going in. It’s all out.
2
@MyName-cw4yr If your not putting electricity in. Only getting it out where is anyone going to get a figure of 30% efficiency from. Remember not putting power in only getting it out.
2
There will some in reserve..
2
@arthurmackrell8154 What about boys putting themselves out there to feed a drug habit. OnlyFans. Do they have anything to answer for ?

2
@dondoodatWill the French allow to happen. Can’t see it myself. Not after Our Nigel did his best to get up their noses.
2
@joefather6084 That’s one I have not heard before. Many Brits appear to be saying the government should just leave them to become destitute.
2
Done for a very good reason. Time taken to get the different vaccines rolled out.
2
The very fact that his in-laws are in Gaza could cause him problems. Also in the current situation how can the U.K. Government do a blind thing.
2
@zakjuly6721 With freedom comes responsibly.
2
I also hope so. Because if reports about vaccination rates are true. The old are pretty vulnerable.
2
@dominiclane8538 Same thing said when unions first came into existence. A lot of employers were screwing the workers which triggered the creation of unions.
2
The money charged goes into the public purse. Paying toward public services.
2

2

2
Shouting won’t make a blind bit of difference.
2

2

2
For me the wrong type of rain is heavy rain that does not have time to soak in. Instead running down the garden & into the lane.
2
@olliereed4206 It certainly has. I remember when Northern Ireland and the Republic had a hard border. Many years ago I met people from Northern Ireland on work courses. They said. Things changed for the better when that border effectively melted away. The border is back. Not with customs posts & watch towers etc but it’s there OK. Is it time for it to melt away again by reversing the partition of Ireland ? The U.K. leaving the EU has brought the border halfway back.
2
How on earth can England be stealing Scotland’s water.
2
@explorer47422 Yep. I have not seen or heard anything either.
2
Desalination plants cost a bob or to build. Very expensive to run. Would people be happy having to pay more for water. A cheaper option could be to make sure everyone is on a meter. A water meter has lead me to reduce consumption.

Is it correct that aircraft have flown into the airport only to leave less than half full because people can’t get into the airport. The Taliban have also reportedly said they won’t let Afghans to leave. So how many of his staff will they let onto the airport. Just because someone says “I can get my people and animals onto the airport.” Does not mean the Taliban will allow it to happen. He mentioned a car being flown out. Did the Brits fly it out ? He did not claim they did. If they did not he has no basis for argument.
2
@robinbailey7460 Best pay more tax to build prisons.
2
I am glad not to be airport staff.

What a surprise. People have an excuse to be angry.

Why are we not hearing anything from Russia ?
1
@boofuu3145 Can we please have that in English.
1
@ They can do it because they can. It’s no surprise it’s been on the cards for at least a couple of decades. It’s the reason a fried moved out two, decades ago. Anyone who has moved there in that time knew it was bound to,happen in the end. The almost inevitably effected house prices.

I thought the Chinese are communist. How can that be right wing. CCP stands for Chinese Communist Party.
1
@ashleyw6728 Would like to think about the cost involved.
1
@zakjuly6721 I would be concerned about any country who did not imprison people. This tennis player can leave the country anytime he wishes.
1
@jessicaandtrains7768 I don’t get your point. Passports & visas have surrounded travel for some centuries.
1
Hopefully towards a safer world.
1
Ms Patel did promise that she would get the number of people coming into the country down to zero within a year. At over 35,000 crossing by small boat in 2021 alone she is behind schedule. Perhaps she is trying to keep her promise.
1
@lindensheffield6434 Makes a change from pensioners being vilified for holding all the money. Screwing the youth. Now we are suddenly poor.
1
A revolution in the U.K. ? Most U.K. citizens are too smart for that to happen.
