  1. They have issues, but every single car ever made has issues... I'm actually buying a 2006 Passat, and drove beautifully, and repairs are reasonable compared to my Audi A6.

  2. It's not any more or less reliable than other cars. I say as long as you take care of it, and keep up on maintenance it should be fine. Any car can have issues. It's funny though, I'm currently looking at a V6 fusion, or a Passat... And the Passat is a great car.

  3. +britton coil I have an Audi A6 (2001) right now... Nice car until you have to repair something. The Passat lots of 'issues' but nice overall car. But I ended up buying a 2010 Mazda 3. Maybe when I have more money to spend I'll buy the vw. But if you want one I'd say go for it
