  1. The Subaru, Hyundai and Kia will be far more reliable. The 2.4 engine in Chrysler products suck, and the 9 speed has known reliability issues.

  2. We own a 2021 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with the V6 and manual. In 2021 we paid $51k total it’s retained most of its value over the 50k we’ve had it for. It’s lifted with 35s and we love daily driving it. We did a road trip from Toronto to NYC and no complaints. Even more fun off road.

  4. I'd much rather a Q3 over a CX-5 any day, unfortunately these brands such as Mazda will never be able to match German quality and driving experience. I like Mazda's a lot but will never be able to compete with the German brands, though it could probably compete with Acura Infiniti and lexus.

  6. Out of preference because the 300 can have a V8 I would choose that! I think Chevrolet & Ford should think about making a performance model but with the 6.2 V8 and Ford's 5.0 ? I definitely think there's a market for a big V8 sedan! Elderly people love big V8 sedans. Just my opinion!

  7. Back in 2014 I bought a base 2003 Civic manual with 228,000 kilometres for $3,000 off a family friend, 2.5 years later, one timing belt, brakes one accident and oil leaks it's at 310,000K and still runs great.. once I'm done saving I'm definitely going to lease a new accord or Mazda 3.

  8. pdgable well, firstly the 2.4 is slow, it's in a lot of fiat/Chrysler products, gets weak fuel mileage. I said nothing about these transmissions failing, although there have been complaints of the 9A failing, I personally think the combination is crap, why can't fiat or Chrysler produce a new turbo engine that's not the 1.4, and put it in this jeep? They need a 2.0T I think, and than maybe I'd consider buying one, because look at the Hyundai Tuscons 1.6T and 7 DCT, it's a great engine and trans combo, gets good fuel mileage and is pretty quick at sea level, but that's my opinion of course. I actually really like the exterior design of the compass, but the engine and transmission is a deal breaker.

  11. I've driven the new Cherokees at night and the headlights are really awesome, my least favourite thing in the new one is the transmission, the 9 speed automatic is just horrible, it never wants to downshift and when it does there no power, if the old one came in a manual I'd totally take it.

  12. I’ve driven both, I like the driving position of the bronco, but I find the interior cheap and most models come with the 1.5L which is meh. Give me a Compass Trailhawk any day. I think it has a nicer interior.

  21. My 2001 A6 has lasted 202,000 miles with no major issues. Good thing I didn't buy the 2004 5 series cause it would always be in the shop.

  24. @10:20 well hopefully Chevy improved since the last Cruze manual, I drove a 2014 Cruze RS manual and it has extremely long throws, awful clutch, I'd still say the Mazda 3 has the best overall manual transmissions!

  29. I just test drove a 2016 200S yesterday and clocked a 0-60 in 6.0 seconds flat, but it was really hot, tires were grippy, really nice car.
