  1. We had a 20' Tiguan and drove it 40k in 6 months and never had a single issue until we traded it for a new Odyssey. My best friend had a 17' Golf that she drove the crap out of till 110k and didn't have any issues and never went to the shop. Tho I will say Mazda is better. But imo VW isn't as bad as you make them seem. I will say every automaker has problematic vehicles. Toyotas reliability has gone downhill over the past 5-10 years.
