  1. I was just driving a 2023 Elantra Essential (base model) and I really like them. It’s comfortable, I LOVE how the turn signals feel. I did 150 mi trip with cruise control set at 75 mph and according to the car I averaged 49.5 mpg. The 2.0L and CVT are honestly a good pairing. I like how responsive the CVT is. I personally like it more than the new Civic and Sentra. Although i think the Jetta and Mazda 3 are nicer to drive.
