  6. I remember my grandma telling me that back in the early 70s she had an Olds Cutlass 442 W-30 and she used to street race the younger kids with it. She said she always wanted a corvette but never bought one because it didn’t have back seats. Lol I think the C2 Corvette is the prettiest imo, but the C3 is slick as well.

  25. I’m in Ontario Canada and we don’t have very many yields, but when I have to merge I usually get up to the speed of traffic and merge in, unless I have to stop. But something sort of off topic is, I drive on the 401 series highway where traffic usually flows at 120-140 km/h and for some reason drivers think it’s a safe idea to merge at 80 km/h.. I’ve almost gotten creamed a few times like that. Luckily I put a chip into my Hyundai so it’s quite a bit faster now lol. Also dang. That SQ5 was so nice. I’m surprised the Tacoma didn’t have more damage on it.

  26. I’ve driven A LOT of the new trucks, and I like the Sierra/Silverado the most. It rides well, and GM makes a really good transmission. I had a 2022 Ram Rebel on a trip from Ottawa to Fredricton NB (Canada) and didn’t love it. The Fords are nice but I’ve never driven one that didn’t have a clunky 10 speed.

  27. This is why I love my P71 Crown Vic! It's not fast, its not slow it's just right. Whenever I run it to redline everyone stops to look lol. A fast car like a RS5 or a 911 is great but you cant really do anything without the risk of getting fucked by a cop lol. Also my fav M3. Adore you and cant wait for your sticker to arrive!!

  28. I drove a 23’ Outlander LE or whatever trim. It was just the gas engine. I really liked it. Solid Interior. Drove well. I’d be interested in driving the PHEV. I’m just not a fan of Toyota. I think they’re overrated. I’d love to see a Mazda CX5 plug in hybrid someday.

  32.  @TedwardDrives  I'm not sure, probably because they are iconic, the last body on frame RWD V8 sedan sold, I'd wanted one my whole life and picked my 08 up for $3000. Never owned a RWD car but this vic is super easy to control when it gets sideways. Other drivers still move out of my way and Vics havent been in service for years lol.

A few years ago I once encountered this old man who was weaving between the shoulder and over the double yellow line plus he was slowing down and speeding up, between 70 km/h and 120 km/h (in a posted 80) so I called the OPP but they kept transferring me to different people so I hung up and went on my way, thankfully I had an old Audi A6 at the time so once he slowed way down again I just floored it by and then he turned. There's crazy drivers every where ... like when I had my first accident the old lady who I t-boned got out and said "that dump truck was waving me out" and the cop wasn't buying it, so he walked over to me and said "you know your not at fault right?" Which I already knew, but because she made one silly mistake it totalled my mint 2000 Civic that had 400,000 kilometres on it. I'm just happy that idiotic driver who you encountered didn't cause an accident.

We have a 2021 Wrangler Sahara with a 6 speed manual and it’s lifted with 35s and we’re always putting inputs while driving because it always wants to veer to the shoulder lol. - we love it though. If the newer 4Runners came in a manual we probably would have got one! I live in Ontario Canada and I’m so jealous of the license plates Americans get lol, most of them look super cool ours are sooooo boring.

Last week I got a 16' Mustang GT, and thursday a Lexus IS300. So I'm pretty happy. No porsches tho. Lol. Hopefully the states gets this covid under control.. not sure what it's like in your state.   49. My bestie has a manual wrangler and we took it on a fairly tough trail last year, we eventually had to let it cool down for a bit because a clutch too hot warning came up. Even she admits she should have gotten an automatic wrangler for ease when going slow on trails.

  56. In Canada a top trim is $32k which is hard to justify for a FWD 3 cylinder with a 6 speed automatic. - Hyundai Kona N line 1.6T is the same price - $36k CDN gets you a Mazda CX-30 GT. (Top trim here) - Toyota Corolla Cross LE AWD is the same money and will be more reliable. - VW Taos Comfortline is the same money. GMs interiors have always been incredibly cheap feeling… even on Cadillacs. That and the powertrain is a deal breaker for me.

  57. I had one once for work, showed 225 kilometres for range, my trip was 186 km and I ran out of battery after 175 km lol. Since I live in Canada our charging network is a joke unless you own a Tesla. I will say the leaf is great for an around town car.

  62. While I have a 2009 Sentra CVT with 165k miles (and it’s been great) I still can’t stand them as a brand. They’ve been doing CVTs for 20 years and still are the worst driving ones in auto industry lol. If you ever get the chance to drive a Nissan Rogue Sport do it, it’s slow and the fake shifting the CVT does is horrendous.

  69. My roommates dad owns a car dealership chain so he has a lot of money, but he was telling me how the only Porsche he’d ever consider buying is the GT3 RS because they typically go up in value. He said he finds Porsche a little boring and too expensive. He’s looking at an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera or a Ferrari SF90. - mainly because they feel special. I’m poor, so to answer your question I would gladly daily drive a 911. Preferably a 911 T in ruby star with the chalk interior. Has there been any Porsches you’ve driven lately that you weren’t a fan of?

  70. I currently drive a Nissan Sentra and it has a rough idle when I'm stopped. I can't use the A/C because the car wants to stall. I honestly would consider buying a Chevy Bolt or Hyundai Kona electric. I'd say the only downside to electric cars particularly where I live is that there aren't alot of charging stations.

I deal with depression and it all started when my parents died from cancer when I was 8 & 10 years old, along with some mental, and verbal abuse from another family member.. anyways, I've thought about suicide so many times, but driving was a way to cope with it all as it would calm me down and make me think about something else, I was amazing at hiding it too, even though close family could tell I was severely depressed, but it all changed when I got my dream job as a driver for enterprise (rent a car) college is coming soon too! it's given me something to look forward to, plus I'm always interacting with people, but then when I came out as gay my grandma said some hurtful things that still sticks with me today, but then I started medical marijuana (edibles) and it's made me happy, it's truly helped with my anxiety and depression, and I'm finally at a place in my life where I'm truly happy. All I need now is a nice black man and some new tattoos and I'll be set haha!

I've had so many cars in the last 4 years, I bought a 2001 Audi A6 2.8 and it was always my dream to own an older Audi, it drove great and was comfortable, but it needed so much work, and I should have fixed it instead of selling it for another turd.. I currently have a 2013 Accent 6 speed manual and it's a great car, but damn I'd love to buy an older Lexus LS430 though lol. I also pay $575 a month for insurance because I rear ended an old lady and my policy got cancelled, but I pay it because I love to drive.

  94. I work at a car dealership and my supervisor let me pick one up that we bought for our inventory. It was the best 4 hours of my life lol. Besides the 13 mpg I was getting it was lovely. They also let me take it to Montreal and back one day too, I was like a kid in a candy shop 😂.

I had no car friends until I was a detailer at a local Jeep dealership.. the one lady detailer had a lowered MK7 golf and I pretended to be dumb and asked her if it was the 1.8T, and it was... that started our friendship and she introduced me to her friend group. I've been to track days, car meets etc. Some of the best people I've ever known. Lots of them own E92 335i's and the amount of oil I've seen be burnt is hilarious 🤣. A big thing esp with me is anxiety, I feel like the car scene folks are too cool for me and I get anxious lol.

  108. I was merging on the highway the other day and instead of accelerating this old man came to a complete stop. The speed limit on the 401 where I'm from is 100 kmh. I set cruise around 120-122 and the cops will NOT pull you over, but everyone slams on their brakes to 100. Also the people who pull out their phones and basically stop to take a video of picture of a car accident. 😒 Can we also add when it's raining or snowing out turn your headlights on!

  109. We have a 2010 Rogue SL with about 200,000 miles on it, and it needed $4,000 in work like ball joints, bearings, etc. But we fixed it because its cheaper than buying a new car. I know it's not nearly as much as a BMW would be but it's kinda the same thing lol. Keep the M3 and see If you can get to 100K miles lol.

I love when you do videos for winding road magazine as well, hearing the vehicle without any talking is nice, but i actually prefer hearing you talk during the videos as you always do, plus I’m able to follow you on Instagram which is awesome! I once did 130 mph in my Hyundai Accent... and the thing was still climbing before I had to slow down, super fast cars are fun, but personally I almost enjoy owning slower cars because you can have fun without being foolish, like my accent does 0-60 In 8 seconds flat and thats plenty fast enough for my tastes, though once it’s paid off I wouldn’t mind treating myself to a 6 speed Dodge Challenger R/T... anyways I’m gonna shut up now lmao.

I was driving to work yesterday morning and saw a woman in a Hyundai Tucson come to a complete stop in the merge lane caused a Ford Edge behind her to swerve all because she didn’t think she could accelerate up to speed I guess, even tho her Tucson was turbocharged and was plenty quick lol. I was just shaking my head. Can’t believe there’s people like that out there. I pride myself in my merging skills. Having visited America a few times (Pennsylvania, New York) I’ve noticed Americans seem to know how to merge better than drivers here in Ontario Canada do lol.

  125. That’s how I felt when I had to drive a Ford Focus 125 mi and it was only rated for a range of 76 mi. Only ONE charging station on my route. Took me an hour of screwing around before it started charging. Took about 35 mins to fully charge. Drove another 65 mi back to the dealership and barely made it lol. I’m in Canada and we barely have any charging stations. My boss finally started putting electric cars we buy on transports unless we have to take them short distances. Ran out of range in a Nissan Leaf once on the hottest day of the year and it was horrible lol. Tho living somewhere like California where chargers are everywhere I’d totally daily a Tesla or Mach E.

  128. It’s so gorgeous. When I was 17 I had an 01’ A6 2.8 (C5 gen?) and it was a great car. Did a full suspension overhaul and valve cover gaskets at 200k miles, then I sold it to my landlord who drove it till 240k before it was totalled. 2.8 V6 was gutless but was reliable. I’d killllll to own a C4 generation.
