I had no car friends until I was a detailer at a local Jeep dealership.. the one lady detailer had a lowered MK7 golf and I pretended to be dumb and asked her if it was the 1.8T, and it was... that started our friendship and she introduced me to her friend group. I've been to track days, car meets etc. Some of the best people I've ever known. Lots of them own E92 335i's and the amount of oil I've seen be burnt is hilarious 🤣. A big thing esp with me is anxiety, I feel like the car scene folks are too cool for me and I get anxious lol.
