  2. I’ve seen the CX9 right around the 6.8 mark.. im not sure why this one is so slow. I’ve noticed Nissans new 9 speed hunts around for gears too much, but still way better than the CVT!

  3.  @olmixer  just from my personal experiences with the pathfinder and frontier, but that’s bound to happen with so many gears. The Highlander 8 speed is just garbage honestly. I’m not in the market for a new midsized suv, but if I was it would definitely be between a Pathfinder or a CX9. What’s interesting is the Kia Telluride and it’s Hyundai sibling aren’t as nice as one would think. I was rather disappointed when driving them. All new police vehicles are slow, unless it’s the new explorer with the 3.3 and 10 speed. Seems to be rather speedy.
