Am I the only one who remembers how many years ago we used to look after our police and nurses. Up the road from me Chase Farm Hospital used to provide affordable accommodation for nurses. This has long since been knocked down an built on by developers. And when my brother was in the police I can remember him having a room in a section house just a stone's throw from Oxford Street. We now spend far more looking after bloody criminals than we do looking after our nurses and police!
