  1. Mercy, I now privately tutor A-level maths, further maths, chemistry and physics. One thing I've noticed very strongly over the years is that most of my students are black, Indian, Chinese, or others whose parents were not UK born. I see relatively few multigeneration English kids. Since most dyed-in-the-wool English really don't seem to care about education or work hard at it, I'm always a bit surprised to hear that white kids are at an advantage. Of course there's always the possibility that Enfield and surrounds has more than its share of really lazy white kids.
