  1. If 5 people have been reported as dying in Manchester alone, then throughout the country there will have been hundreds of deaths: maybe a lot more. If I need to see a GP then it is totally unacceptable for him/her to use some poorly educated receptionist as a gatekeeper, who knows vastly less about medicine than me, to try and fob me off with a remote appointment. GPs are paid a good salary. It's time they worked properly for it.
