  1. In the last 7 weeks or so I think it's become very clear that Putin is a psychopath who has no intention of negotiating a peace, and that he will do whatever he can get away with. On this basis we should arm Ukraine to the teeth while making it very clear that an attack on any NATO city will be responded to by attacks on Moscow and other Russian cities. I doubt Putin cares about how many Russians dies, but some who can get close to him probably do have family they love, and will "remove" him from power.

  2. Earlier I might have believed the bit about stopping the war. However, the atrocities committed make it very clear that if Putin is allowed to win he will definitely go after other Baltic countries, and perhaps even Finland and some Easter European countries.
