  1. Diversity officers in the NHS is an obscene waste of money. With the shortage of doctors and nurses you NEED to employ ALL suitable candidates, whatever their background! I've said it many times before, but it bears repeating. Admin in the NHS, and many other areas, is like a malignant and virulent cancer, sucking up resources that are very badly needed elsewhere!
