  1. A major cause of IT failures is the employment of crap software developers. What most people don't realise is that good developers really are about 10 times better than average ones, and really good ones are about 100 times better than poor ones. Sadly, most of the software houses that develop these IT systems, for companies like EasyJet, generally go for cheap and "easily managed" staff. But as the saying goes: you pay peanuts you get monkeys. Cheap software developers cost a lot more in the long run!
