  1. Well just look at how the government is treating them. Someone on minimum wage gets about 2.5 time as much as the state pension. Most really struggle on minimum wage, so imagine surviving on a state pension. Now, with heating bills set to go through the roof, and food prices also shooting up, the government is reneging on the "triple lock", and screwing OAPs out of the pension rise that they are going to need very badly. What a despicable way to treat our elderly!
