I don't condone what Insulate Britain are doing. However people do need to realise that if all the houses in the UK were well insulated there would be a truly massive energy saving. Perhaps we need a scheme where people who won't/can't pay to have their houses insulated have it done for free, but then the money they save on energy bills is taken to pay for the cost of that insulation, possibly with a higher tariff until the debt is paid.
