  1. Looking at the average wage in the UK, £15 is perhaps a bit high, but we should definitely be aiming at somewhere between £10 and £12. Now, when it comes to employers claiming they won't be able to pay, I always think of Massa, on his sugar or cotton plantation, crying into his champagne about how he won't survive if slavery is abolished.
