Without a shadow of a doubt, part of the reason for the riots is the very real fear that those values that so many of us grew up with are in danger of being overturned. Of course it's not immigration per se that threatens these values, but totally inappropriate immigration. My father was Polish and my mother Irish, but they embraced the values of their adoptive country and made sure that their children did too.
