  2. I suppose Western democracies' Achilles heel is that we don't expect deranged psychopaths to end up ruling countries. We remove our leaders for comparatively minor infractions, but in the likes of China, and Russia being a murdering psychopath seems to be a positive advantage in ones rise to power.
