  1. I suspect that the only reason vaccine passports have been dropped is the Downing Street didn't want to suffer serious humiliation when our supreme court ruled that they were illegal. There was an incredibly large and reliable study in Israel which resulted in 3 findings: 1. Natural immunity is 13 times as effective as vaccine induced immunity. 2. Unlike vaccine induced immunity, natural immunity is very long lasting: maybe a lifetime. 3. There is no statistically significant benefit to vaccinating the naturally immune. The Israeli study has already been successfully used in court by a US law professor. English law is based on precedent, and while a case in another country might not set a precedent in this one, I imagine our Law Lords would certainly look sympathetically on what happened in the US. What I expect now is that instead of "vaccine passports" we will very soon see "immunity passports" which will include all those who can prove previous infection, or the presence of antibodies, or the presence of memory B and T cells. Personally, as long as they don't try to force the vaccine on young people, I would be OK with this.
