I live in North Enfield. About 40 years ago there were factories right along the other side of the A10, and there were many, many more on that side stretching from Brimsdown to Edmonton. As a student I had holiday jobs in quite a few of them. Every single one of them, and the many thousands of jobs they provided, have now gone!
