Let's be very clear on this. Starmer is ONLY interested in getting his foot in No. 10. Regardless of the pain and suffering, he wants to see things buggered up as much as possible for this government, in the hope that it will increase his chances. That's why he has always very enthusiastically supported every single government restriction. And the more unpopular and damaging the greater has been his support.
