There's no ceasefire as yet. What Putin calls de-escalation is a pathetic attempt to relabel retreat under fire, in areas where, to his acute embarrassment, he is getting his arse well and truly kicked. In little over a month he has killed more Russians than in their entire Afghanistan campaign. How's that for incompetence? If he were genuinely interested in peace we would be seeing a withdrawal or at least a ceasefire in areas like Mariupol.

@adriangoodman8901 Most of us have nothing against Russia, just mad dog Putin. In fact my Russian students, when I taught in international schools, were among my favourites.
