  1. And it's purely hypocritical and for show. With the Taliban allowed to regroup and bide their time, just over the border on Pakistan, it was blindingly obvious what would happen once the UK and USA withdrew. No matter how much Pakistan objected, those camps, and those in them, should have been wiped out.
