While I doubt Boris faked having Covid, there was most certainly a conspiracy to scare people shitless, so that they would surrender their freedoms, and it worked spectacularly. The very simple facts, that most people were too stupid to grasp were that Sars-cov-2 only ever posed threat to about 0.3% of the population, and most of them were either very old and/or very sick. On this basis alone (never mind excellent natural immunity after recovery) there should never have been any lockdowns.
