  1. Juries to not make the law. They were there to decide if an act of criminal damage had been committed by the defendants. It unquestionably was, and whether the jury had sympathy for what they did is irrelevant. As there was no question about what was done, and who did it, these people should have been found guilty. Those on the jury should be punished for perverting the course of justice, and their verdict dismissed.
