Well there you have it. Sunak really does consider the great unwashed to be complete schmucks. Where are those 50,000 more nurses going to come from? Our own nurses and doctors are leaving in droves. They are spoilt for choice with other countries falling over backward to pay them more AND treat them a lot better. Even if he can build another 40 hospitals he won't be able to staff them! And let us not forget that our chronic shortage is going to be exasperated by the sacking of those who won't take a poorly tested vaccine that they definitely don't need. Most health workers have come into contact with plenty of people infected with covid-19. They have had covid-19, recovered from it, and now have natural immunity that has been shown to be both better and longer lasting (maybe a lifetime) than any immunity induced by vaccination.
