What those of us who aren't totally bereft of intelligence want to know is why employers allow one workday to be sandwiched between strike days. It doesn't take a genius to realise that this allows strikers to get paid for an extra day of disruption.

@paulnolan1352 Unlike people such as you I was totally opposed to lockdowns and other restrictions over a little virus that only posed a threat to a small fraction of 1%. But then as someone who used to rock climb and pothole I guess I'm not a bed-wetting snowflake.

@johnkitching2248 That's why employers should regard the in between day as a strike day, tell the strikers not to come to work, and not pay them. A simple solution to anyone who isn't thick.
