  1. "People are being taken for mugs" Over the last 20 months most people have proven beyond reasonable doubt that they are mugs. For a virus that kills about 1 in 1000, who are overwhelmingly very old and sick, they have allowed Downing Street to turn their lives upside down. Instead of just getting an infection, that for most people is less bad than a heavy cold, and after which you end up with rock solid natural immunity, they have queued up to take rushed through and poorly tested vaccines. Short of jumping off the White Cliffs of Dover, it's hard to think of what more most Brits could do to prove their stupidity.
