  1. Exactly. When you don't know much science, and have poor understanding, you make up all kinds of nonsense to explain things. Religion, of any persuasion, belongs to our distant ancestors, who lived in caves.

  2. This is something the UK can be incredibly proud of. All religion is superstitious nonsense, embraced by the poorly educated and feeble minded. So this report indicates that, despite what we all think, the UK is enjoying some success in educating its population.
