  1. Am I the only one that believes parents have an absolute right to know what their kids are being taught? They also have a right to know who they are being taught by: a right often violated. A few years ago the headmaster of St. Ignatius in Enfield employed an English graduate, who was a Teach First TRAINEE to teach maths. She "taught" my nephew from Y11 onwards and was truly USELESS. The headmaster deliberately passed her off to students and parents as a proper maths teacher, and became incensed when I published the truth. A great many parents would be very shocked if they knew who their children were being "taught" by!
