  1. The fair solution, is very simple. You pay someone more to work in an unpleasant area. This goes not only for GPs, but for teachers too. Why should someone doing much more pleasant and easier job, in a leafy rich area, be paid the same as someone who is busting their gut in a much less salubrious environment? This would be true levelling up, but don't hold your breath.
