  1. Whatever this scientist did just take a look at everything that's happened this summer. Lots of life threatening heat waves, lots of very bad forest fires, lots of flooding: and in many different and widely separated places. Do people really believe that this is simply a surfeit of bad luck? Being over cautious will cost a relatively small amount of money compared to the price our children will pay if we underestimate climate change!
