Given how these soaring energy prices will really hurt pensioners, who need to keep warm, MPs should (for once) do the decent thing and force the rich boys in Downing Street to honour the "triple lock". When one considers that someone, really struggling, on minimum wage earns 2.5 times the state pension that 8% that the government wants to steal from old people doesn't sound so generous.
