The fact that this online "learning" and isolation happened at all is a stinging indictment on the majority of those who proport to teach our kids. This virus poses a negligible risk to the vast majority of kids, and barely touches most of their teachers. Hell, I'm 63 and have been laughing my head off, throughout this façade, at how frightened people have become about a virus that kills well under 1%, who are mainly very old and/or very sick.
People in this country have sacrificed our children, for very questionable gain, and should hang their heads in abject shame. Schools, and universities, should have carried on as normal: and exams should never have been cancelled. What I find most shocking is how almost all parents simply rolled over and watched their children's education and mental health being buggered to hell, without making the smallest effort to fight for them.
