There are indeed lots of aspects about the mass use of electric cars that have not been considered. Or more likely they have, but have not been presented to the public. However two things they would definitely do would vastly reduce both air and noise pollution. But then again so would people walking or cycling some of their excess weight off, or using public transport. Sadly, on the last of these, government has spent the last two years scaring people shitless about getting on a bus or train, and London's mayor is using masks to maintain the fear.

@jamescollins3647 Have you the slightest idea how many people in cities, with fairly good public transport, insist on driving, even though it often costs them a lot more? But you are right about outside of cities. Transport needs to be greatly improved here, and regarded as a vital public service, not a profit generating scheme.
