  1. This is probably why he is committing atrocities, like shelling expectant mothers and newborn babies. He is desperately hoping to goad NATO into a direct conflict. Then he can fully mobilise the military, further crack down on any descent with marshal law, and deflect attention for the massive screw-up he mad in Ukraine. And there are people like Sturgeon who are only too keen to give him exactly what he wants!
