Such a variant may well arise, but without having mainly vaccinated people to apply selective pressure favouring it there's no reason why it should gain any dominance. The only reason the more infectious Delta variant became dominant was because dumb-ass lockdown strategies gave it a significant advantage. So sorry Dr. Pankhania, but your argument is fairly weak. However, as one of those who don't think vaccinating those who have natural immunity, or are at low risk, makes any sense, I'd be more than happy to give poor countries the vaccines that we really don't need, so they could vaccinated their most vulnerable.
