When, just like the Kremlin covering up the Ukraine war, our government was covering up the thousands of massive anti-lockdown demonstrations, Russia Today was one of the few reliable sources telling us what was really going on. The trouble with our much vaunted democracy is that we are free to hear what the government wants us to hear about, and say what the government wants us to say. Those of us who don't fall into line may not disappear, but we are often very effectively silenced!
