  1. As someone who tutors A-level maths, further maths, chemistry and physics I can confirm that most students really aren't prepared to put in the hard yards. But any teacher who now calls a kid lazy is almost certain to lose his/her job.

  2. ​ @kth6736  So true, and other nationalities who don't grow up feeling the world owes them. For the past 10 years very few of the many students I've taught have had English parents.
