  1. Well said Nigel. Our "first past the post" system effectively disenfranchises a large proportion of the electorate. It may even disenfranchise MOST of us, because many vote solely to keep out Labour or the Tories, fearing that if they really voted for what they wanted it would be a wasted vote.
