  1. When people are prepared to pay silly prices it's small wonder that inflation continues unabated. We all have to buy basic food items, but there is still no shortage of fools prepared to pay ridiculous prices for things like cakes, crisps and ready meals. As an example, what kind of complete idiot pays more than £2 for a single scotch egg, or sausage roll?

  2. ​ @Ashtarot77  Sadly the amount of food waste in this country is obscene. I can honestly put my hand on my heart an say that my food waste is very close to zero. As for sausage rolls I make my own: cheaper and much better.
