There's a saying. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Sadly the only places that are prepared to pay to attract the superstar I.T. developers are places like the City and Wall Street. The rest con themselves into believing that you can get good developers for cheap. A good developer is about 10 times as productive and will deliver a system with far fewer bugs, and be much better at pulling out any that do get through. If real professionals had written the system then all this would have been avoided!
