  1. The thing is that what seems a small rise in temperature may seriously alter some climate patterns, such as the monsoon. If this kind of thing does happen then the consequences for India might be catastrophic. It seems very unfair that the richer countries are responsible for most of the rise in greenhouses gases, due to their industrial revolutions. However, the whole world has to focus on the present and the future. It's that old saying about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
