It doesn't matter one iota whether Putin is bluffing or not. Giving into nuclear blackmail is simply not an option, otherwise it will be repeatedly used, and not just by Putin. Also the reasoning is logically very flawed. Unlike the rest of the world, Russia regards Crimea as part of itself, yet Crimea has suffered several spectacular and very humiliating attacks. Anyone watching Putin's speech saw a desperate pathetic man who was babbling to try and save his own skin. Putin has seen the writing on the war, and far from easing up on him we need to be really piling on the defeats and public humiliation!
