I've taught in quite a few private schools, and some state schools. A hallmark of the better schools is that they support their teachers. Good school management generally know which kids are little shits, and keep them in line. Good private schools are very happy to be rid of such kids as it's better for everyone else. Only bad schools pander to worthless kids who try to get good teachers into trouble. I remember a woke head of studies. I was writing on the board, with my back to the class when someone started making silly noises. Without looking round I commented that it sounded pretty retarded. Well, some student went and complained about how offended they had been. Woke HOS was also deeply offended, but as he didn't run the school he could do bugger all. The funniest bit was that later, when I was coaching softball the kids used to shout "you retard" across the field at one another. I guess most of them preferred not having a woke teacher.😊
